Director's Cut
I also like having the Egg Carrier, Station Square, and the Mystic Ruins because they're like mini-worlds you can explore even though they are quite limited. In SA2B, you went from level to level without really going to a level (ie. how you walk to casinopolis then enter the casinopolis level) I hope that makes sense.
I don't know which one has the better way of raising chao. In DX you HAVE to give your chao animals in order for it to have a certain skill. In SA2B, there's the chaos drives and I usually don't use the animals. I do like the Kindergarten, so I'd have to say SA2B is my fave at raising chao but not gameplay.
Also, I want to add that whenever I play DX I get a bit awed to connect the mystery of Angel Island with Tikal and see the ruins and then see them in the flashback as a thriving empire of echidnas. I think it's pretty cool... maybe it's just me. It's like that feeling you get when you see an abandoned house and think that there once used to live people there.... nevermind.
Just some stuff I wanted to write about DX and SA2B because I am bored and don't know what to write about.Di
